What is the main differnce. My local Napa has them both and the dominator is only $.80 more than the interceptor. Is it better. Also what are you guys paying for your oil. They wanted $7.40 for the interceptor and $8.20 for the dominator.

I think Interceptor is the better oil for KDXs, unless you are really going to be hard on your bike, aka sand dunes or high RPM racing. Interceptor has better rust protection and has more detergents in it for keeping powervalves clean. I just recently switched to Interceptor after everything I read seemed to lean that way for trail bikes.

So this a personal opinion after reading a bunch of posts on the internet, so take it with a slight grain of salt.

the website says $8.40 and Napa is $7.40. Than maybe i would guess there is shipping? So thats more... But i think i will go with interceptor instead of the dominator.

I think the Dominator is grape flavored. I hear the Indaceptor is unscented.

It looks normal to me. They always have stuff like that really cheap. I pick up plugs there for $2.00 flat.

Ryan -
In my neck of the woods there are several places that routinely sell Amsoil discounted 10% off the retail price to their customers.

Action Motors (big into selling snowmachines) normally has a sale around Thanksgiving for 3-4 days and knock ~15-20% off the Amsoil price.

Bottom line - prices seem in-line with what I see here.

They are probably distributors where I am simply a dealer.... oh well... money talks.

Well, maybe if we all buy a case of interceptor (and cases of motor oil, etc) from Inda he will get the volume discount in the future. I will be doing so when I run out of Motul 800, and Castrol Syntec. Ryan, you've definitely received enough support from this site to kick in a buck. I will 2nd the fact that I get my plugs from the auto parts store too. Advance to be exact as they offer warranty on their plugs. I've saved up 4 B8ES' and taken them back for replacement.
