My lower shock bearing started sqeaking...

on my last ride. I have ordered a new All Balls linkage kit, should be here first of next week. Can I ride on it this saturday, single track stuff. The weather is so nice, i hate not to go. Think i will be fine?

CC has a part number for a good replacement. McMaster Carr 5905K76 caged bearing

I've got the parts in route, I just want to know if it will be okay to hit my single track this weekend. Got the jones and can't stop.

I wouldn't let a little worn out bearing that is gunna get replaced stop a ride. Maybe slap a little snot in there to lube it first. So what, you hammer a bearing that is getting tossed.

Mine started squeaking and it thrashed the rocker arm after one ride, turned into a lot of work. Just a word of warning. Mine was a bad case though.

I would at least take a look at it and grease it.
