forks choices

I hear allot about the kx forks on the kdx what about the 93/94 forks that were on the kdx what about those are they any good or better then my stock 2004 forks if so did anyone put them on a current kdx also would older cartridge forks from say older kx would work or be better ?

I asked the same question I was told that the stock forks were better than those and to get 96 or newer kx forks

The 93 and 94 KDX 200's had USD forks.

Are those USD KDX forks worth looking (for those who don't already have a set of 1998 KX250 forks coming in the mail, any day now?)

Since they involve virtually the same amount of hassle as the KX forks do, I'd get KX forks instead.

I agree with Morie. Why go to the trouble putting forks on that don't have the benefit of advances in technology. My '03s amaze me in how the feel softer on small stuff and stiffer on big stuff. I like 'em! :supz:

IMHO they are not. They are the same as the 95+ forks just inverted. They offer very little additional over the 95+ forks to make then worth the effort. They have no rebound adjustments and a dated design compared to the KX forks of the same year. For virtually the same amount of money you get a much better set of KX forks and the increased adjustments and modification abilities that they offer.
