One of them is to 'hide' a pic.

Once you hide it, how do you FIND it again?

Yes...I looked in the same spot I HID it from..but there is no FIND IT function.

It's hidden so good even the software doesn't know where it is?

All I see is resize and delete... which one did you do? It's only hidden to everyone else.... not you! Or at least that's how it works for me.

Under 'edit photo' one of the options is 'hide'. And no...it's hidden from me AND everyone else, too.

so...where'd it go?

You MUST have hit the delete by mistake. I don't see it CC.

Well, now I know enough about it to answer my own question. I didn't want to repeat the process when I had no understanding of what happened.

Yeah...I must have hit delete (it's right below 'hide').

I just selected 'hide' for another photo to see what happens.

Above the caption it then says 'hidden' which I presume it is to anyone looking at the gallery that's not theirs. THEN there is a 'show photo' option in place of the 'hide' option, and you can toggle it back and forth.

So..now I know what happens when you 'hide' a photo.

A complete btw....I'm often amused at how things 'work.' I think I chose 'hide' and the resultant missing photo I think is the result of that action. After all, it's hidden now, isn't it? Maybe it takes an admin to 'unhide' it? The fact of the matter is the result of my actual action (delete most likely) is what I'm dealing with, but the whole conjecture of what's wrong starts with an incorrect premise! Something you will often find true in arguments...the premise is incorrect...forget the argument based on it. You will never get anywhere!

I'm glad I had this opportunity to amuse myself......

Thanks for your time, Inda. I'll bet there is a federal tax break for hosting a forum for the handicapped! You might look into that! I'll be your poster boy!
