What gear box oil should i be using in my kdx. At the moment im using 10w-40 four stoke engine oil (out of the garage). But I dont think this is the correct oil and wondering if the reason my clutch is slipping is due to the engine oil.
If anyone knows would be helpful, Thanks.

I am using Spectro 4 10w-40 (non-synthetic)
I run it just over the top of the sight glass.
Found that running a whole quart made the shifting a little heavier. I use the remaining oil to flush out the bike when changing the oil. Just a little nitpicky thing

Any half decent 10w-30 or 10w-40 motor oil will work. Others run ATF type F in the boxes but my bike hated it. Stay away from oils with friction modifiers in them, they should have it written on the bottle with a little logo.
