Anyone ever have hassles with the seals tearing in the rear master cylinder? mines done it 2 or 3 times now for no real reason obviously the barrel is burred in the cylinder. can you polish those with out creating more leaks or problems?

Never had any issue with mine. You could try polishing it out, certainly sounds like its not going to get any worse. Sourcing a replacement from Ebay might be a good solution also.
