They're pretty hard to come by nowadays. I ended up breaking mine as well about a year ago but I was able to have a work friend weld it back up for a 20. It's been perfectly fine ever since. If you still have the broken piece welding is probably your best and cheapest bet.

Sometimes you can get lucky on eBay and see them, but not often. Lots of the time they are bundled with the rest of the KIPS system and cost a couple hundred bucks for the entire order.

Best of luck!

Edit: I should have looked at the part number instead of assuming. You mean the shaft, correct? Not the pin on the end if the shaft. You can still get a new shaft, I believe it's a reproduction, but it looks fine. I'm sure you have, but make sure you broke the shaft and not the part on the end that actuates the governor, the pin thing. Typically that is what breaks and not the shaft.

Here is the shaft on eBay if that is what you need.

There's a guy near Beirut in Joünié, Lebanon (also spelled Jounieh more commonly in English) who reproduces them (EDIT - same eBay seller that I see SpruceItUp linked above!). He sells them on eBay on and off, Malik L Crosset aka George Loussian. He was North of Beirut, I do recall that. Lebanon is a warzone currently though, so this may be a bad time to hope for getting any parts from there, so you may need to just keep an eye out on eBay. He has eBay auctions up currently, including a used shaft, and new versions, he is a machinist.

He has them used, new reproduction, and new reproduction with the left hand thread nut for $15 additional.

Here's another repro, older post, not sure if they are still doing them:

Another one, recent, one-off for a customer's bike:

Or try this guy, he has made several different KX versions of this shaft and certainly could do a one-off. Czek Republic or somewhere I believe, so also more shipping and tarriffs to add to the cost.
