Exhaust leak, and rear brake lever/ return spring?

Hey everyone, I have a stock head pipe and I’m getting an exhaust leak where it meets the engine. I replaced the gaskets and copper seal there as well as the spring. I’m thinking my exhaust mounts being broken are the culprit. Also looking for a replacement rear brake pedal and return spring. I looked here and it looks like 2006+ kx 250f pedals work?

Here is a link to the pics of the exhaust. I’m not sure what’s missing on the lower header mount, obviously the upper mount weld is broken. Is this likely why I’m having exhaust spooge leak out front?

If the two forther back frame mounts are not correct, then yes, that will be an issue. A bent pipe will also cause an alignment issue.

I can't see the picture in the post, so I went to the site and reposted it.

I’m sorry let me try to post it here I had posted the Imgur link to the album. The pipe doesn’t appear to be bent. But the big point up top is sheared an old weld broke and the lower mount I’m not even sure how it mounts to the pipe. So I’ve got the upper weld fixed then it looks like. Am I losing a lot of performance from an exhaust leak right where the pipe meets the engine? I don’t mind the excess spooge , but I already feel like this bike doesn’t have a lot of low end, but it could just be me as this is my first bike and only KDX ive been on.

Thank you!

The lower mount bolts to the frame on one tab, and there is a stud attached to a rubber damper that bolts to the pipe like this

Yours appears to be missing the stud. This would allow the end of the pipe to rock and allow exhaust leak at the pipe/head junction. If you can get that fixed and make sure there are both springs between the exhaust port and the pipe installed you'll be in good shape. Others have even used hi temp sealant around the pipe at the head with good results, just makes for more work when you remove the pipe.

Yep, the piece above is what needs to be replaced. Good pic there, bufftester.
