KDX 250 RIDER SPAIN

Hello everyone, as I mentioned in the introduction, I'm new to the forum and have purchased a KDX 250 with the goal of returning it to its original physical condition, restoring the engine, and documenting it. This is quite a challenge since this motorcycle lacks spare parts, and even more so where I live in Spain.
The current condition is acceptable as it retains many of its original key parts. The engine starts well, although it will also be rebuilt. I'm not sure if the silver exhaust body was original or from another motorcycle. I'm also having trouble identifying it. This KDX has a 12-digit chassis number, not a VIN. When I enter the characters in the Kawasaki spare parts section, it doesn't recognize it. I think it's from 1992, since the identification number indicates it was distributed in 1992.
I'm leaving the identification number in case you can help me identify it better:

I've only had it for three days, and I've already encountered several issues, including the fuel tank. It's been repaired, and it appears to be leaking from one of the side plate bolts. Finding a tank in good condition is a challenge. I found one on eBay for a fortune. Anyway, one of the main tasks is to figure out if I can repair the tank and be able to sand and polish it and see what options it has.
On the other hand, the plastics. A good restoration requires new plastics. I've found plenty for the KDX 200 (UFO), but nothing for the 250. DC Plastics tells me that their plastics kit has a satin finish (not glossy), and I don't like them. Well, I'll keep looking for plastics online.
Another of the main tasks is to restore the electrical system, as it's missing some parts, such as the front and rear light harnesses and the regulator harness. I found the schematic here on the forum; it'll be very useful.
In short, I need your information, first of all, to identify the model and if you know where to find decent plastics for this bike. Properly restoring the tank and getting new plastics are paramount to me; otherwise, I'll be forced to get rid of it, although I'll do everything possible to prevent that from happening.
