Hey all,

New here and a new KDX200F owner in Aus!

Have most things working and she is in great shape. I am working on the electrical to get it road registered and everything is working except the indicators not flashing. I found this flasher unit (i believe) in the head electrical rack but i cannot find replacements or this item anywhere online.

It appears that 5 of the cables are the ground wires for each of the indicators and the indicator light on the dash (5) and then the 6th cable in earth.

I created a DIY harness to convert to 2 pin filament flasher and it works 100% when i inject 12v from a battery but then when i start the bike using the stator the headlight and tailight flash like the indicators... seems to slow/stop when rev'd but then it comes back.

Anyone have ideas on this and if maybe there is a better replacement for this unit or conversion? :partyman:

Pretty ingenious fix, too bad it didn't work and I'm not sure why. This might help:

http://garakutahatkara.web.fc2.com/kdxwink/kdxwink.html

And this:

This is the Kawasaki part number: 27002-1066

I found a new one at CMSNL:

https://www.cmsnl.com/products/relay-as ... 270021066/

I found this used one for sale in Russia:

This might be one too, not sure though:

This is "turn signal relay" in Japanese ターンシグナルリレー , you can search for that on Buyee.com to find more possibilities

Good luck!

medoix, can only offer something from the "Department of the Overlooked." A friend once called me for help because his blinkers did not work. It was quickly determined that the negative side on each of the 4 blinker bulbs were not connected to ground.
