Carburetor air screw richer mixture

Hi,
I rebuild my top end. And now for the first houres the gasoline air mixture should be a bit more fat/richer… do i have to turn the air screw in or out?

Are you wanting to run more oil than normal? If so, it is not needed.

Better to be rich than lean during break in. Just make sure it will idle and ride it. After 10 minutes of running/riding you can set your sir screw just like you normally would.

Ok, thanks. But in which direction do i have to turn the screw for rich?

Turning the screw in, or clockwise, is makes it richer.
