Will the clutch basket either OEM / After market from a 95' newer KDX work for my 94' KDX? I looked at a parts list and noticed the part numbers are slightly different between the 2 models but I wanted to know if anyone has tried this and if it was successful.

If the part number are not the same, then 99.9% or more of the time, it won't work.
They are two different parts. The first five numbers mean what type of part it is. A Kawasaki part number is : 12345-6789. 11009 is a gasket, 92015 a bolt, etc.
See if Pro X makes a 1989 - 1994 basket.

Not to hijack, but great link! Those guys have blue plastic for our old Yamaha IT200 we rode as kids on the farm. Brother still has it! Would certainly sharpen the look up!

Great responses all. I ended up purchasing the Mitaka clutch basket. The reason I was originally asking was because Mitaka had mislabled their clutch descriptions. Mitaka lists a clutch basket fitting KDX 200 94-2006. That is an error on Mitaka. You must purchase the Mitaka basket labeled for the 89-93. The 89-94 KDX clutch baskets have 12 prongs. The 95 and newer have only 10 prongs on the basket.
