Do you use any grease on the backs of the pads? So far I only took apart the rear pads, didn’t see evidence of grease but there was a fiber shim between the pad and metal shim. Not sure how the front looks yet just want to do it right.

If you do use grease what do you use?

Thanks

Ok cool, I’ll pick some up. You put it on the backs of the pads? What about guide pins? I’m wondering if they should be left with no lube so they don’t attract dirt.

I would throw a dab on the backs. If it's good for a car, then it should be good for a bike.

Under the rubber boots, the service manuals say throw a dab on there.
