One of our race team rides 2002 KX250. The short course events are just at the limit of his fuel. So if the laps are little longer on at some events he has to pit. He doesn’t want to install a travel tank just needs a little more.
Anybody already try a KDX tank on a KX?
I’ll try to stuff mine in there next time I see him, but you guys might already know.

Won't fit straight across that's for sure. I highly doubt it would fit unless extensively modified. Considering how hard OEM tanks are to find for KDX's nowadays, and that they're getting old, his best bet would just to buy a Clark or IMS tank and be done with it or carry some extra gas with him.

True. I went looking for a tank just because one of my captured nuts has pulled out. They are pretty darn hard to find.

I doubt the KX width would fit in the KX250 frame. For example, I test fit and found out my 2005 KX250 tank is too wide to fit into my 2005 KX125 frame.
