Greetings guys I’m interested into this ad
https://www.car.gr/classifieds/bikes/vi ... ki-kdx-200
It’s like Craigslist but in Greece. This bike is sold 450 and the owner claims this is a ‘00 model, but I see the radiators reserve cup at the back which looks like an 89 model, I asked him to give me the frame number but he doesn’t seem eager to pass this info away..
Do you think it might be stolen and what model would you believe this bike to be?
I can take it at 380 euros around 330 dollars , I believe it can be a bargain

Is it a Chinese made bike?

Thank you for the answer KDXgarage! I know it’s ugly but the thing that alerts me is that he doesn’t tell me the frame number so maybe I should pass too...cheers man!

DX200g-021318 the frame number finally, and the funny thing is that the owner claims this is a ‘00 bike!

It may be a KDX125, which is a model they didn't sell in the USA.
It looks like it is missing a few parts and several have been modified or are just wrong (kickstarter, side panel, etc.)
Do you see how the kickstarter is not lined up properly?
Do you see how the pipe does not fit properly?
If you are buying it to use as a parts bike for your current KDX200, then not many may work. If you want to buy it to have it as a KDX125, then you have two old bikes that are hard to find parts for cheap.

Thanks a lot for the advice KDXgarage !!! You saved me from a lot of trouble, in the beginning I thought I’d buy an H Model in good price, then I thought to use it for parts for my G bike, whatever the case it would be a bad choice.
This one seems like a decent E model I think but cost around 1200 around 1400 dollars I believe

Do you think it is a reasonable price?

I don't have a clue what a good price is in Greece. In the USA, that is about right. Used bike prices have gone up since the pandemic hit.
This one looks like an F or G. It's not an "E". Ask for a frame number or VIN, plus the engine number.
