Looking for a source for the spring that goes under the detent ball thats under the left side mainsheet gear, seems like nobody has them.

It's not a big deal to run without it. I ran without it for years. That said, just find a spring of similar diameter and length (trim to length if necessary) and install it. IMO, all it does is provide tension on the KIPS shaft to help keep it a little quieter from the infamous KIPS rattle.

Use one cut to length from a ballpoint pen...

Edited to say "I'm not kidding", it's what I used and a bit of experimentation with the spring length, whilst watching the KIPS valve opening whilst throttling up, with the round slotted cover off and you'll get the length right in a couple of minutes.

Found a spring at the local True Value, same diameter but a little long, sniped it shorter. Less than a $1.
