Help I have 95 kdx 200

My bike will start by pushing it off easy but will not kick start. Sometimes after it runs for awhile it will kick start but most of the time it will not. I've cleaned the carb, put in a new plug, fresh fuel whats should I try next? Thanks for any help

I would do a compression test.

Sounds like low compression, has it ever had the top end done? Compression check at a bare minimum
