Alright, my dad wants me to buy some parts for the atv tonight so im gonna get everything i need for the kdx besides fork stuff. While im doing this i might as well buy some jets.
I have an fmf pipe, VFII reedcage, a good amount of small holes in the airbox, and a 200 carb on my bike. The jetting is stock and I running 32:1.
I want to switch to 40:1, what jets do you all reccomend i purchase, becasue i have no clue were to start. Thanks

The stock jets for that carb are 160 main and 48 pilot, they are most likely too rich.
For the 35mm carb I would get a 52,55 main and 42,45 pilot. That would be a good start anyway. You may also want another needle, I used the CEL with good results but I would get the main and pilot squared away first.

Main jets: 150, 152, 155.
Needles, stock #5 slide: DEM, DEL, CEM, CEL
Pilots: 40, 42, 45
slide: #7 (if you go with this slide you'll need to change your needles to DEK, CEK)
My set up on the stock 35mm carb was: 152, DEK/3, #7, 42, air screw 1 1/4 @ 2600' and 80 degrees in a dry climate and 40:1 synthetic premix.

i just opened up my carb, and i have a 155 main and a 48 pilot. What should i do from there. I am also going to have to break in my top end. should i leave the jetting the way it is untill the motor is broken in or does it not matter?
