Buddy rode my 220 and now the transmission is sticking between 2nd and 3rd. (yes I'm a dumb ass) Can anyone recommend a quality shop that does KDX transmissions?

Did he run it out of oil or dump it hard enough to damage the shift lever? Can you get it into any other gears other than 2 and 3? Have you noticed any other issues lately (odd sounds from the clutch/tranny, KIPS not working?) If you are competent with hand tools and have the space to do the work it's much cheaper to do it yourself. If not, find a local shop that sells 2T dirtbikes, they'll glady work on it for the hourly shop charge and dealer price on parts. Be ready to drop up to $1k.

Looks like the shaft moved up maybe 3/4" ans there appears to be a leak around the collar ans o-ring. It's rough shifting into 2nd and will not go into 3rd all the time. I get nothing trying to go to 4th or higher

sounds like possibly a bent shift shaft, or possibly an issue with the shift forks. Unfortunately it will require opening the motor up.
