Which year KDX is it?
100/100 is 100 mm wide and 100 % of 100 mm tall. (100 mm x 100 mm)
4.6" wide is around 120 mm wide. Depending on brand, and if this is a 1986 - 1988, I am surprised it is not rubbing the insides of the swingarm. This is also assuming the stock 48 rear sprocket.

Does it have the plastic chain / splash guard?

Oh for real I was trusting the guys words and looked at the plate an didn't question, I didn't pay a whole lot so no buggy but yeah, when I got it it had no chain guards except the plastic chain slider near the sprocket

It's all making sense now it's explains why when I did the clutch the new washers I bought for the 86 didn't fit but 88/88 did

I am the guy that posted a picture from the Kawasaki dealer book, "Model Recognition Manual".
I got a new 1987 from the dealer. It came with a plastic chain guard / splash guard. If yours does not have that, then it must be how it is running such a wide tire. Personally, I would go 100/100 - 18. That bike does not have a lot of power. Stock was 100/100-18 on even the 1989 - 1994 liquid-cooled models in the USA.
Here, look at what it looked like MANY years ago:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-KDX20 ... 4420727127
It shows on the back that the stock tire was 100/100 - 18.

Between the two what?
Do you mind putting your bike in your signature? It would help others when you talk about "my KDX" or "my bike".
Thanks.

I cleaned it up a little. If people see "1987 KDX200", since most fols on here are from the USA, many will first think USA "C" model, not the AUS D-1 version. The USA never had the "D" model 200's.
I WISH, THOUGH!!
