Cluch basket issue

Hi all need some advice i have a 89 kdx200 sr also a 90 kdx200e i need to replace the clutch basket on my kdx200 sr as one of the fingers have snapped off i have a spare basket from a kdx200e but there is a couple of differences between the two...
1990 kdx 200e clutch basket.
- weighs less than the kdx200sr basket
-thinner clutch basket fingers
- movement in the gear attacted to the basket (primary?) - should this have movement??
So the question is have i got two fukd baskets or can i use the kdx200e basket ??
