My bike has been running erratically for the last couple of days and noticed the once small split in the carb boot is now getting bigger. Anybody know a quick fix to see me out the next few weeks of the riding season or have one for sale. I was thinking coat it with three bond then wrap in vulcanising rubber

I've heard Plasti Dip works well for this purpose.

Liquid electrical tape should work well

Someone needs to re manufacture these for the E series. Seems to be the biggest issue I see with the 89-94 models and there is no new replacement available. I have heard of people using carb holders from other bikes and making them work.

I was checking out fleabay and there were a few kdx carb intake boots and airbox carb boots available. Just replaced a ‘91 cr250r airbox boot, there was a couple still out there!

Ordered the rad valve. Tired of all the problems I've had with the kdx intake system, seems like such a complicated sealing design
