Stinger size?

While still locating a decent ‘95 & up 200 or 220 to buy I’ve got a very quiet fmf silencer to modify for it. Actually 3 of them. They are the Q 93db silencers #020482 for a Honda trx250r. So trying to find out the stinger diameter of the stock or fmf gnarly desert pipe. I can cut & reclock the silencer inlet and make new mounts to fit the kdx frame mounts, I have a miller mig 211 & dx250 tig in the garage. Once I secure a kdx that is, not sure when that might be but did find one a days drive away one way in Sacramento lol! But I’ll probably modify all three and sell off the other two. They were bought to make sure the 3 quads I took to the Oceano Beach race passed the sound check in tech inspection. Got my pic in the mag even! I took them off after the one race and they sat on a shelf ever since. Too restrictive otherwise for the dunes or ohv riding areas. But I’d bet they would be great for a stealthy kdx. So my question is what is the stinger diameter of a later model ‘95+ kdx200/220 silencer oem or fmf gnarly pipe? These Q silencers have a 1 1/8” inlet I.d. Thanks in advance

Nice 250R. Let me know if you find a KDX. I have a turbine core 2 for the H series and the stinger portion is of no use to me. I still want to save the can and end cap incase my current one gets damaged. It has a hairline crack in it near the upper mounting point. With your equipment you could fix that up easily. I took it to a couple shops and they both wanted $75 to weld the crack. Its about an inch long but still sprayed my inner number plate with spooge so I bought a new one.

John S thanks for the info, that kdx inlet/stinger diameter being the same works out well. Thank you for the offer of the silencer parts. I need the bike for the angle of the inlet and mounting locations in order to redo the Q silencers to fit up correctly. $75 seems a bit high for a 1” crack but it’s the contamination on the inside that would foul weld bead I’m sure. If the silencer can interior was prepped around the crack it wouldn’t be a problem at all repairing that silencer, hell id do it for free
