suspension settings for ultra lightweight riders

there is practically no suspension settings available from light weight riders( presumably because there are hardly any lightweight riders), mostly suspension advice given from heavier riders so thought i would be that light weight guy to give you my first hand experience. i weigh 60kgs and my kdx220 has wanted to jar the fillings out of my teeth since the day i bought it. recently did a complete suspension overhaul and these are my settings

front forks-
0.32kg springs with 10mm preload
2.5 weight oil in one leg and a 50/50 mix of 2.5w/5w in the other leg
110mm oil height
compression 17 clicks out
5 compression shims removed and pay particular attention to the shim basket position as put on incorrectly this is like adding 10 shims (as per photo)

rear shock-
yz125 rear spring(4.6kg)
120mm preload
2.5w oil
140 psi nitrogen charge
compression and rebound shims removed (as per photo)
rebound 10 clicks out
compression 15 clicks out

results- it handles so well i can't stop riding it. it feels super plush and i have no issues with bottoming although most of what i do is technical single track, tree roots and rocks are a pleasure to ride over. i haven't taken any sag figures yet so there still might be some room for improvement but i can't imagine how it could work any better. now i can actually focus on developing riding skills rather than just holding on tight

I'm a lightweight rider myself at about 138-140lbs (63-64kgs). Thanks for sharing!

Good info. The only thing I would caution is using different weight oils in each leg. That can theoretically lead to one leg compressing or extending at a different rate than the other which could affect handling and stress the rim/axle/bearings. Not a giant risk, but it is a possibility. Glad to hear it's working well for you!
