I am wondering about bearings and seals for 83 KDX 250 bottom end.Are they standard sizes I can pick up at a Bearing shop or do I need to buy (expensive!) OEM ?

Should be able to, They give you the sizes in the US parts description, 6305C3 bearings, make sure C3 bearings as they have a little extra clearance for the operating temps. Seals are 20x40x7 and 25x45x7 make sure both double lipped. the seals I sometimes go with a Viton as they are also rated for higher operating temps.
Sometimes there are different parts for locations US, AUS etc. if you have the old bearing/seals out measure to make sure..

NTN or Koyo are good brands if you can find local, I think a lot of OEM are Koyo..

still assembling bits I need for a full rebuild from a variety of sources. Not buying OEm bearings and seals (but equal quality) will save me a bit!
