Does anyone have list of which years and or models were oil injected vs premix?

Your info says USA, so I will answer as such. 2003 - 2006 KDX50 (made by Suzuki) were the only KDX models in the USA that were oil injected. All the others sold in the USA were pre-mix.

I had an oil injected 175 many years ago.
For some reason I thought the early models had oil injection like my enduro.

Nah. Some of the KD, KE, KH, KM, etc. had that, but not a KDX.
