Hi, Just wondering if later model plastics will fit on an '89 KDX 200? In particular I am after a rear fender, do the UFO fenders fit? Do late model tank/plastics fit?

None of the later KDX plastics fit other than the front fender. The only interchange is the side number panels are the same as the KX500.

UFO might still make a rear fender. Look on Dennis Kirk.

As far as the "just" the headlight shell, OEM or just buy a whole new headlight.

There are a few to choose from, just be sure to check wattage.

The rear fender for a 1995 - 2006 KDX200 / 1997 - 2005 KDX220R will not fit a 1989 - 1994 model KDX200.

The OEM part is no longer available from a dealership. You might find one on eBay for a high price, but it will be much more than what an aftermarket complete headlight will cost. UFO, Polisport, Acerbis, etc. make them.

At 35 watts on the bulb, they should work on standard 1989 and newer KDX lighting. No. They won't light up the forest, even on high revs. :-)
