Can someone tell me what part 43049 is? It’s identified as “Packing” in the parts list. Is it a washer, an o-ring that goes on the shaft in that little slot?

Hmmmm. I think that is what is on the right shaft in that slot, kind of like an o-ring. Hard to tell unless I see it. I didn’t see one loose when I put the motor back together.

It is a small double lipped o-ring. I replaced mine during my rebuild to ensure against air leaks. Lube it during reassembly.

Yes. Here's a pictures from Ericr's build page. That's the right side shaft.
