Has anyone weighed the RM Showa forks before conversion? What do they weigh compared to the standard KDX forks. They look pretty hefty.

I haven't, but suspect the difference between them is just a couple pounds. That extra weight, though, is sprung weight which can make the bike "feel" lighter and the performance improvement more than offsets the weight gain IMO.
