when setting up rear spring they ask for rider weight is that normal weight or fully ready to ride boot, helmet, and so on?

usually they want your riding weight, which can be higher than you think, considering all your protection, camelback, fanny pack, GPS, radio, first aid kit, avalanche beacon, survival kit, snow shovel, flare gun, food, tools, whiskey flask, bear spray, walk-out shoes, emergency back-up whiskey flask, shotgun with extra shells, duct tape, extra spark plug, and double failsafe whiskey flask.

I swapped my spring out for one off the front of a 65 Caddy Coupe de Ville.
