Hello everyone
I’ve got a kdx220 with 35mm carb extended kips cover gnarly fmf the next thing I want to try is my squish.
Now living in England I can’t use the normal people so apart from the solder test what else do I need to know and does anyone know who to use in the UK
Cheers

Where in the UK are you ?
As you will be taking the head off they why not bite the bullet & send the head & jug off to be ported & matched ....there's a few good shops still in this country ..... I have a 36mm carb on my 220 & sent the motor to be "breathed" on ... Result was a 40hp tractor , docile when need be yet a ripper when you wated it to !

There are specialists in the UK catering to BSA Bantam racing. They have done some amazing things with these. They should be able to help you with head squish issues. IIRC Rex Caunt (sp?) is a name that comes to mind.

Check out Stan Stephens , he's been around for many years & specialises in tuning two strokes , he tuned my rd 350 lc & RG 500 back in the day with great results ..... There's also Mick Abbey tuning ....terry Beckett is another but not sure if he's around these days .
I used Gibbs performance ( just outside Plymouth ) ...he did a full engine rebuild ,port & head mod plus dyno set up for £500

Just got my barrel back before x mas now 265 cc .. you tube kdx 250sr.. still haven't tried it. But bdk race carried out the work... they also sorted my crank out to accept kx barrel and piston.. A little bit slow. Or other option was kustom craft in USA.. would have loved there 310 mod....
