how do you dissasemble the throttle valve to adjust needle.

6mm cap on top... remove it and turn the slide upside down and it will fall in your hand. Use a 6 sided socket.

hey thanks. I just put my vforce 3 and my pipe on and rejetted to what I think is right. stock carb 148 main 40 pilot and 2 turns out on the air screw. I left the needle like it was cause I didn't know how to adjust it and it seems okay. but I will adjust it after a couple of rides. boy taking the carb off is a pain in the A$$ all those hoses to disconnect. thanks the trail rider

Let's see.. there's the fuel hose...and that's it. You don't need to take the overflow tubes off if that's what you're talking about.
