I have already posted a similar subject in the Sr section, so does anyone have any idea about the necessity for the ballast resistor on the Sr models, considering I believe it isn't on the E model and could it be part if the de-tune

I removed complete light loom , only have one half of resistor conected bike runs ok

Yeah I actually traced the wiring through and found it’s for the headlights and other lighting to stabilize any power surge
