Had a 04 kdx stem pressed into a 2000 kx 250 lower clamp I bought a new lower bearing & had that pressed onto the stem. the bearing will not go all the way down the stem to the triple clamp. I have a gap between the bottom of the bearing and the top of the triple clamp its about the thickness of a quarter. did anybody else have this and do you think it's a big deal. MY kdx lower triple is thicker than the kx triple which is causing this gap.
