As stated so here's some history bike was bought used however rideable with bogging issues ,,, the clutch cable was adjusted almost to end of adjustment so thought maybe cable was stretched ,,, bought new cable ,,,no difference ,,, replaced friction discs ,,did not replace steel's ,,,cable still adjusted to end so next I put a new set of ebc springs the description said 10% stiffer with nnew springs they compress so much keeps the clutch engaged bike leaps n stalls ,,, so I pulled it apart making sure spacers / washers and assembly is correct using clymer manual ,,noticed grooves in basket so filed smooth ,,,turns out backing off the clutch springs let's clutch operate as it should ,,,I can't torque to spec so I'm leaning towards springs rate to much ,,,, anyone know where can get stock replacements ? Checked eBay found ebc n Barnett's ,,, just want softer spring rate ,,thanks

Was also thinking springs from other models like kdx200 or kx125 etc

I doubt the springs have anything to do with it. I would guess the cable adjustment is not rite. the cable should have an adjuster in the cable and at the lever.

The cable has the adjuster at the perch and another on cable ,, when I backed off spring bolts the pressure plate moves as it should ,,,it was rideable with the springs that in it b 4 changing

I have the same cable on my 94 kx250 cable on that has a ton more adjustment on it ,,,
