Will kx250 Cdi work on my kdx250F sr I have the original 4prong kdx Cdi and the kx250 is 2 prong just I'm buying a stator and have choice of 2prong or 4 thanks

Do both bikes rely on an extra pickup coil as timing reference?

Is there a reason you would want to change cdi's?
