Hello
I wan't to make a shorter muffler from my second original spark arrestor.
Why because the original is big and i think that when i flip the bike to hard i will have serious damage on my exhaust pipe and i have a second one so why not use it... And it looks better :)

Has anyone done this before and what do i cut away?
Nr1 is the spark arrestor...?
Nr2 is some kind of restriction so the sound doesn't leave so easy and is better absorbed by the damping material? Right?
I was thinking to cut away the spark arrestor
I'm from belgium and here we don't have a dry climate, even in the summer the trails i ride are fire resistant ;) and i don't think it's illegal in belgium

I would just replace the entire baffle assembly with another. It's gonna be awkwared to reroute the spark arrester.

Original spark arrestors are somewhat of a collector's item.

"Good job, guys. "

I have shortened the muffler by cutting away the spark arrestor (nr1) and welded a 5cm of perforated tube to the original tube
Because i want it to be as silent as possible
The result looks good, it's a little bit louder but it works better than the original
Btw where i live they are not collector items...
