Hey, my kdx family. Need QUICK help!

Was taking my carb off to do a rebuild. When i went to put it back on , i saw this hose not connected to anything. Can anyone identify that for me. Its obviously the circled object

I cant see the picture but it may just be an overflow hose. So the overflow would just be directed away from the bike.

That is the trans vent hose. It goes up to the air box, there is a hole on the right, front of it.
