HI ALL, i am trying to upload a vid file to the site .
i would like to shorten it .
any recommendations on editing software .
no need for a super suite , just basic stuff needed.

How so? We don't really do video hosting here. You can embed a youtube video into a post, or one from vimeo or something like that, but you can't really upload one directly to our server. Can't afford the disk space on donations only. If you want to put a video into a post, best thing is to get a free account at a video host and use the bbcode to put it into your post. Youtube is about the easiest.

Thanks, i am having trouble with photo bucket ,i go to upload it to PB and it goes through the motions but will not finish so to speak , so i assumed the vid was to big for PB to handle .
so was looking to shorten it and try again.
i have windows movie maker working now and will give it a try

Never tried using videos at photobucket. A free youtube account will work though.

I edited your post and added the youtube bbcode tags to imbed it in the post rather than make it a link. ;)
