My 87 Kdx 200 is leaking fuel out of the carb. The engine is not filling up it starts and runs excellent but the fuel leaks out of the float bowl vent hose. I know the petcock is not completely shutting off so I plan to order the petcock rebuild kit that is available on eBay. Was wondering if anyone had a part number and source for the needle and seat for the carb, hopefully that will cure my fuel leak. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I bought the rebuild kit but had no luck with it. Still leaking gas. I ended up ordering a brand new petcock for $15 from a newer KDX. They look the same so im assuming itll fit.

What does the parts diagram or owner / service manual say it is?

What does the petcock not closing have to do with fuel running out?? I would think nothing.

Yes it probably is a standard Mikini part which is no longer available from Kawasaki according online parts manuals. Was just checking to see what others may have used and had luck with, I see a few options online.
The petcock has nothing to do with the fuel leaking from the carb except for the fact that as its sitting in my garage leaking fuel I can't even stop it by turning the fuel off at the petcock. Drip, drip, drip...
