Speedo/ODO along model years

Hey guys, I thought that I read that KDXs have a speedo/tripometer stock, but mine came with a lot of things taken off/modified (no headlight). So I'm wondering if it's supposed to have one, or if that was on the H series?

Upon further examination, I see there is a hub on the front wheel to drive a cable. Neither my e2 or my e3 has anything more than that, though.

It comes stock with an odometer, that's all. It has a trip and a lifetime counter.

Huh the guy I bought mine off of must have taken it off. Cut the wires to the tail light too...

For some reason most owners, somewhere in the life of the average KDX, try to turn it into a motocross bike.

It drives me nuts. My last one somebody took off the headlight, taillight and odometer.
Luckily my new one still has it.

I wouldn't say mx bike. Cross country bike (woods bike without lights)? Yeah, I did that to one as I never used the lights.

I smashed my stock speedo/odomoter and replaced it with a trail tech vapour.
