Hi guys new to this page. I have a 96 kdx200 .20 over and was wondering if I could run synthetic 5w20 in it? Thanks guys!

If you're talking about for the trans, then no..... 5w-20, like most thinner oils, is an "energy conserving" oil, which means it contains the additive 'moly' (don't ask me to spell the whole word, hahah), which is NOT compatible with a wet clutch and will make it slip. Generally most oils 10w-30 and thicker are not energy conserving and can be used. Just make sure on the API grade label on the back of the bottle that it does not say 'energy conserving" in the little circle
