Could anyone tell me what ignition coil will work on a 1986 KDX200? Would a 1989-94 work?

I dont know 100% but most ignition coils are the same ive used a lot of different ones between bikes without problems

You may have to finagle the mounting, but one off nearly any dirtbike should function.

you can buy new ones from ricky stator
