What year is this bike?

The seller claims it's a 2004. I seem to think it's more like 94' or 95'. Also is it missing a headlight? Or did these models come without the headlight or tailight? I'm a bit thrown off by the inverted forks. Are they stock forks pictured? Thanks for any help and information I could get on this bike. It a 200 I'm told. I haven't seen it in person yet so I thought I'd ask some people knowledgeable in this model.

It's a 1993-1994 E-Series KDX200 (both model years are the same).

Forks appear stock (although they appear quite sacked-down for some reason).

Headlight is removed and stock rear fender swapped for a KX500. Both of those are (were) common cosmetic mods.

It should state the model year on the sticker, on the right hand side of the head tube. It will say something like "This 199* model year motorcycle is not...."
For sure not any newer than 1994.

Tenth digit of the Vin. P for 93 R for 94.
