Hey fellas,

The boot on the top of the carb slide/needle/end of throttle cable is ripped. Looks to be attached to the throttle cable. Can this be picked up separately, or is that just part of the factory Kawasaki throttle cable on a KDX200?

Don't buy an aftermarket cable, the boot won't fit properly.

Wow what timing. I was about to pull the trigger on getting a Motion Pro throttle cable because I have the same problem. Thanks Tedh98!

Nope, but the stock cable is a better cable and only a few bucks more.

I am having trouble figuring out the exact part number. Local dealer says this would be "54012-1485".

The frame is a 2001 KDX220. The motor is a 1997 KDX200. Any clue what part# the throttle cable for this application would be?

Again - needing replacement due to torn boot where slide/needle meets carb.

54012-1485 is the correct part number.

You can't just buy the boot. You have to get the whole cable.
