Rear wheel offset 03 kdx 200

I was an idiot and took my rear wheel apart and did not check for off set is their any off set to the rim and hub im going from a 18 to a 17 supermoto rim want to get it right the first time

can any one with supermoto wheels on their kdx help and measure their rim quick and let me know please and thank you the local Kawasaki dealer wont even help out shmucks that they are in Canandaigua NY

please can some one give me an idea like put a string across rim and measure how far sprocket is away from string some thing any thing guys I want to ride guys

http://www.kdxrider.net/forums/viewtopi ... t=flywheel. I believe there is no offset and as long as you stay under a 160 on the tire you should be ok, but I have not built a Motard wheel

Kevin T from Warp 9 says the offset for a kx wheel is 18 to 20 mm from the mounting flange of sprocket to outer edge of a 17 x 4.25 rim laced on oem kx hub I will try in the middle of what Kevin said and adjust if I need to

Update 19mm works should have went to 20 though tire is really close to chain when you center wheel like an 1/8 inch from tire to chain I used a 150 70 17 Shinko dual sport 705 tire these are the specs on tire rim width 4.25 overall diameter 25.28 width of tire 5.94 max load 716 max tire pressure 42 tire rating H
