KDXRIDER.NET

I've read on here that some are using a different style fuel petcock. I absolutely hate the petcock on my 05 KDX for the looks and the lack of room it provides for the line and reaching the choke. Can I put any year/model kx petcock on it?

KX petcocks don't have a reserve.
A lot of people use Yamaha WR petcocks on their hybrids because they do have a reserve.
I used a petcock off of an '87 KDX on mine. It is definitely shorter than the '05.

Good to know...I'm guessing the kx one I see on eBay is a generic photo because in the photo it has a reserve.
