Please Help! 87 kdx200

Okay so I bought an 87 kdx200 a few months ago. Had to get the cylinder resleeved. Got it all back together and broke in. (started it let it run and get up to operating temp then shut it down and let it cool completely 4 times. rode it around about 5 times without going over 2nd gear and no more than 1/4 throttle. Retorqued the head bolts. Rode it again a few times without going over 1/2 throttle.) It was when I got over 3/4 throttle when I had my problems. I was riding and I think I was in 4th gear about 3/4 or more throttle and it just cut off. Didn't make any funny noises just cut out. I pulled the clutch and stopped. Tried to kick it and it was stuck. Put it in 5th gear pulled the clutch pushed it then popped the clutch. Didn't turn over but it moved. Kicked it and it fired right up like it was nothing. Putted home and drained the tranny oil. Had very small chunks of rubber in it. Not metal...rubber. Read up a little on it and seen something about the kips actuator or something needs to be supported before cylinder is taken off. I don't know if it was because I didn't take it apart. It was already pulled apart when I bought it. My neighbor said it could be crank bearings. The clutch felt like it was slipping when I rode it and even when I pull the clutch in while its in gear it still has drag on it. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Pulled everything apart seen that my cylinder base gasket blew out and made it run lean. Luckily didn't do much damage to my cylinder so I'm just gonna get it bored to the next size. Still wondering about the rubber chunks tho. Had some pieces stuck on the clutxhes also. Thanks in advance for your help!

Note: you are posting in the E-Series subforum for 89-94 liquid cooled models. You might have a bit more luck in the air-cooled section.

Are you sure it was rubber? It could be chunks of clutch friction material. I pretty sure the only rubber in the bottom end would be the seals. Also there is a crankcase breather located behind intake, under the carb. This is made of rubber and could have possibly gotten into bottom end. I would do a leak down test and inspect seals through out engine, might as well check the clutch while your at it
