You're asking for a war on this one. I'm using Motul 710 or 800 at 40:1. This allows me to share fuel with my sons KTM.

I run 32:1, which I believe is the manufacture recommendation. Right now I am using Golden Spectro, but I have used other brands with no discernible difference or issues.

I also run 40:1 after reading that it was what a lot of people used.

Castor 927 in everything. my kx i ran 32:1, 100cc yamaha gokart runs at 22:1 never foul plugs and gonna play around with the kdx when its done but gonna start at 30:1 and see how much she smokes. Castor doesnt gum anything up and seems to protect better than just about anything.

Bell Ray HR1 oil at Bell Rays recommended 40:1. Follow what the oil manufacturers say and you'll be fine. Jet the carb for the ratio you choose and stick with it.

Careful on a really cold day. Castor will separate from the gasoline.

Never had that happen to me.

(also made a habit of shaking the tank if its sat for awhile. but that would happen to any mix overtime.)

yes...really

one US gallon is 3.785 liters
3.785 liters is 3785 milleliters
add 100 milleliters to that and you have a ratio of 100 to 3785, or simplified, 1 to 37.85

makes perfect sense, specially if you consider i can carry a 250 ML water bottle filled with oil to fill up my tank when hit reserve
