Hello All,

Who has good archives of magazines and such from the early- to mid-1990's? If anyone does, would you be willing to help out a KDX250-D owner?

I've recently sent email requests to Dirt Bike and Dirt Rider seeking to purchase either full magazines or article scans from their archives, but have received no responses (positive or negative). It seems that there were a series of reviews, comparisons and hop-up articles on the bike between 1991 and 1995...possibly later for hop-up articles. Now I need to track down people with those mags and arrange some mutually beneficial deal to scan whatever material is available.

There have been some complete magazines listed on ebay in the $15-each range, but I those only list the comparisons/reviews. I can't find the months/years that have the hop-up articles in them.

So...anyone with a scanner have the ability to get their hands on those articles?

You might want to try your local library. Explain to the reference librarian what you're looking for. You will probably be advised to look through their READERS GUIDE TO PERIODIC LITERATURE. Before the internet I used to do that all the time. If you find an article that looks interesting, the library should be able to get you a copy.

I think it is March 1991. Just look on ebay. Sorry, I don't have a scanner.

the Dirt Bike 1993 250 enduro test does not tell much for someone who already has one.

I did just go and flip through them.

The Dirt Riders are inaccessible at this time.. sorry
